After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Callaway, Jackson was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Westside Seminoles, posting a 42-13 victory. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 29 points or more this season.
A big part of Jackson's win came down to the chemistry between Canaan Bernhardt and his top target Jaison McCall. Bernhardt threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes while McCall picked up 144 receiving yards. Those 261 passing yards gave Bernhardt a new career-high.
Jackson didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Westside to a completion percentage of just 41.7%. The Red Devils weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 66.7%.
