Softball Recap: Skyline's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Skyline lost against Blackfoot back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Grizzlies fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 7-6.

Brylee Scott was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last 11 games she's played. Traeley Schwartz was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

Skyline's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5-1. As for Blackfoot, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

While Skyline had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
