Volleyball Recap: South Garland Comes Up Short

South Garland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 38th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Rowlett Eagles, falling 3-0. The Titans were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-8, 25-9.

South Garland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Rowlett, they moved to 5-14-1 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

South Garland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against North Garland on the 16th. Rowlett has also already played their next contest (against Lakeview Centennial), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
