Foothill lost to James Logan back in May of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Falcons had just enough and edged out the Colts 7-5. The Falcons' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Myra Galzie spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, Foothill let Naima Braham and Alexa Sponsel run wild. Braham went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run, while Sponsel went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple was Braham's first of the season. Eishita Singh was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Foothill's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for James Logan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Foothill has already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Berkeley on the 6th. As for James Logan, they will head out on the road to square off against Amador Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
