Basketball Recap: North Bay Haven Academy Takes a Loss

North Bay Haven Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 66-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ravenwood Raptors. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, North Bay Haven Academy still got an impressive performance from Kaverryion Walker, who posted seven points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Alan Forbes, who had eight points.

North Bay Haven Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Ravenwood, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-9.

North Bay Haven Academy and Ravenwood could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in their respective state rankings. North Bay Haven Academy (ranked 452nd) will meet Franklin County (ranked 185th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Ravenwood (ranked 240th) will meet Summit (ranked 102nd) at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
