Volleyball Recap: Alex Kazaryan and Mark Lee Secure Win for Village Christian

Village Christian won the last time they faced Heritage Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Crusaders put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Crusaders.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-3, 25-15.

Village Christian was led to victory by Mark Lee and Alex Kazaryan. Lee had four aces and three digs, while Kazaryan hit 100% for 13 kills and five digs and two assists. Kazaryan has been hot, having posted five or more kills the last six times he's played.

They weren't the only good server: Village Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in March of 2024.

Village Christian's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-13. As for Heritage Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

Village Christian has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Whittier Christian on the 11th. As for Heritage Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Valley Christian at 5:15 p.m. on the 22nd.
