Football Game Preview: Pauls Valley Panthers vs. North Rock Creek Cougars + Official Tickets

The Pauls Valley Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the North Rock Creek Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pauls Valley's offense hasn't had much luck over their past five games, but Friday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Pauls Valley's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Plainview on Friday. They had to suffer through a 55-0 loss at the hands of the Indians.

Meanwhile, while North Rock Creek put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Star-Spencer. The Cougars blew past the Bobcats 49-0. Considering the Cougars' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Pauls Valley better focus on containing Landon Rosser and Hunter Bertram as the pair were huge in North Rock Creek's win. Rosser threw for 90 yards and three touchdowns, while Bertram rushed for 51 yards and a pair of scores. Bertram got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 50 yards. CJ Stephens also helped with two TDs in total.

North Rock Creek's record is now 2-3. As for Pauls Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Pauls Valley came up short against North Rock Creek in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 41-34. Thankfully for the Panthers, Caleb Hawkins (who rushed for 206 yards and four scores, and also caught one touchdown) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
