Softball Game Preview: Bayshore Bruins vs. Booker Tornadoes

The Bayshore Bruins will challenge the Booker Tornadoes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Bayshore fell victim to Lakewood Ranch and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 20-0. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last five games, Booker finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They lost 20-0 to DeSoto County. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Tornadoes were not able to get on the board.

Bayshore's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Booker, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Everything went Bayshore's way against Booker when the teams last played on March 3rd, as Bayshore made off with a 28-15 victory. Does Bayshore have another victory up their sleeve, or will Booker turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
