Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Paisley Hallows and Megan Mecham Lead North Sevier to Victory

With a playoff win on the line, North Sevier rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They blew past the American Leadership Academy Eagles 3-0. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

While North Sevier won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-11, 25-19.

North Sevier was led to victory by Megan Mecham and Paisley Hallows. Mecham had five aces and three digs, while Hallows had eight digs.

They weren't the only good servers: North Sevier was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, American Leadership Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Astoria Peck had ten digs and two aces.

North Sevier's victory bumped their record up to 13-15. As for American Leadership Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

North Sevier has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Maeser Prep Academy on the 24th. American Leadership Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
