Baseball Game Preview: Woodberry Forest Tigers vs. Benedictine Cadets

Henry Dixon was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Benedictine sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Cape Henry Collegiate on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cadets.

Woodberry Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Benedictine, their win bumped their record up to 2-3-1.

Woodberry Forest suffered a grim 14-0 defeat to Benedictine in their previous matchup back in April of 2023. Can Woodberry Forest avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
