Warner extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping them up to 3-4. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 12-11 W against the Borrego Springs Rams. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Rams back in March, they had to take a 13-3 loss.

As for Borrego Springs, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by just one run.

For Borrego Springs' part, Lylamae Gutierrez stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 1-for-5 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrina Gonzalez, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Warner will challenge rival Julian at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Borrego Springs is set to face off against their familiar foe Vincent Memorial at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
