Baseball Recap: Lincoln Park Academy Comes Up Short

Lincoln Park Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 9-1 to the Port St. Lucie Jaguars. One positive for the Greyhounds, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Lincoln Park Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Port St. Lucie, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln Park Academy will face off against Master's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Port St. Lucie, they will challenge Tradition Prep at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Port St. Lucie is facing Tradition Prep at the right time seeing as Tradition Prep is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
