Baseball Recap: Northampton Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Northampton waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 20-14 margin over the Freedom Patriots. For the Konkrete Kids, this counts as revenge for the 9-3 victory the Patriots walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2025.

Gavin Caravello was incredible, going 3-for-6 with five RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Brady Simock was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three runs and three RBI.

Northampton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .528. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in five consecutive contests.

Northampton's record is now 8-3. As for Freedom, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-5.

Looking ahead, Northampton will face off against Allentown Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Freedom, they will challenge Liberty at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
