Baseball Game Preview: Central Florida Christian Academy Eagles vs. Gulf Coast HEAT

The Central Florida Christian Academy Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against Gulf Coast HEAT at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Central Florida Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.3 runs per game this season.

Last Thursday, everything went Central Florida Christian Academy's way against Halifax Academy as Central Florida Christian Academy made off with a 17-7 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

He has become a key player for Central Florida Christian Academy: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-2 otherwise. Meanwhile, Gulf Coast HEAT was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 17-6 to Ruskin Christian.

Kevin McNulty made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-2. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Travis Beiler also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Gulf Coast HEAT's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Central Florida Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Central Florida Christian Academy has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 10.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Gulf Coast HEAT struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.1 strikeouts.
