Volleyball Recap: Providence Academy's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Providence Academy had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came out on top against the Tri-Cities Christian Eagles by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Providence Academy found their leader in sophomore Allison Berry, who had 30 digs. Those 30 digs set a new season-high mark for Berry. Micah Merkel also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Providence Academy's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Tri-Cities Christian, they moved to 11-12 with that loss, which also ended their five-match winning streak.

Providence Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tri-Cities Christian has already played their next matchup (against Johnson County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
