Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Riverside-Brookfield

Riverside-Brookfield extended their postseason success on Thursday against Berwyn/Cicero Morton. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Mustangs. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Riverside-Brookfield didn't let Berwyn/Cicero Morton take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23.

Gavin Sharenow was the offensive standout of the match as he had 13 digs and one assist. Those 13 digs gave him a new career-high.

Riverside-Brookfield's victory bumped their record up to 20-17. As for Berwyn/Cicero Morton, their loss dropped their record down to 22-15.

Coming up, Riverside-Brookfield will square off against Brother Rice at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Berwyn/Cicero Morton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
