Soccer Game Preview: Cocke County vs. Station Camp

The Cocke County Fighting Cocks will head out on the road to face off against the Station Camp Bison at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Saturday, Cocke County had just enough and edged out David Crockett 4-3.

Meanwhile, Station Camp entered their tilt with Sycamore on Saturday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. Their defense stepped up to hand the War Eagles a 9-0 shutout. Give Station Camp's defense some credit: that's the team's seventh straight shutout.

Station Camp pushed their record up to 16-2-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 40 goals over those five matchups. As for Cocke County, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.
