Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Nicole Resendiz and Marta Reyes Lead Cross Keys to Victory

Cross Keys won the last time they faced Howard and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cross Keys Phoenix managed a 26-20 victory over the Howard Hawks.

Cross Keys was led to victory by Marta Reyes and Nicole Resendiz. Reyes went 5 for 6 on her way to 10 points, while Resendiz posted four points and five boards.

The win got Cross Keys back to even at 9-9. As for Howard, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Cross Keys has already played their next game (against Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Howard will be playing in front of their home fans against Atlanta Area School for the Deaf at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
