The Wildorado Mustangs fell victim to the Happy Cowboys''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Cowboys, falling 48-0. While losing is never fun, Wildorado can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 154th, while Happy is ranked 16th).

Ryan Cox threw for 79 yards on 11 of 25 attempts. Sterling Washington was his top target, rushing for six yards.

Wildorado's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Happy, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-1.
