Volleyball Recap: Cedar Valley Comes Up Short

Cedar Valley lost against Herriman back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Aviators fell 3-1 to the Mustangs. The Aviators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-13, 20-25, 25-14.

Cedar Valley's offense was headlined by Isabel Levorsen and Liviena Wolfgramm, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Kaori Inzunza and her 11 assists. Levorsen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Cedar Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Herriman, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

Cedar Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Riverton on the 14th. As for Herriman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Orem on the 15th.
