Softball Recap: Jay's Undefeated Season over After 15 Games

Jay was the 7-6 winner over Northview when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Royals fell 9-5 to the Chiefs on Thursday. The loss was the Royals' first of the season.

Mylee Frazier made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Having lost for the first time this season, Jay fell to 14-1. As for Northview, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Jay didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-2 win against West Florida on the 8th. As for Northview, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Navarre on the 4th.
