Seymour lost against Shelton back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Gaels. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-15, 25-17.

Bailey Sadick paced Seymour's offense, picking up eight kills. Sadick got some help from Isabelle Lester and her 13 assists. Leah Parkosewich controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Shelton was led to victory by Avery Wheeler and Nicole Zotova. Wheeler had 31 digs and two aces, while Zotova had 18 digs and six aces. That's the most aces Zotova has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Jesseca Zotova, who had eight digs and two aces.

Seymour's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Shelton, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

As of now, neither Seymour nor the Gaels have any future games scheduled.
