For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Opp and Straughn have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Bobcats blew past the Tigers 18-1. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won 12 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Opp pushed their record up to 19-4 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Straughn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.

Looking ahead, Opp will face off against Long at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Straughn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
