Basketball Recap: Waco Comes Up Short

Waco dropped their record down to 7-12 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Timber Creek, they moved to 7-12 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Waco will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lake Belton at 7:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025. As for Timber Creek, they will be taking part in a tournament against United at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday.
