Football Recap: Firebaugh Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Firebaugh's offense. They had to suffer through a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Centennial Apaches. The Falcons' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Firebaugh's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Centennial, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Firebaugh will take on Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Centennial, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Dominguez at 7:00 p.m. The Apaches will need to watch out since the Dons have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
