Football Recap: Kaycee Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Kaycee faced Meeteetse in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Buckaroos were beaten by the Longhorns 56-13. The loss leaves the Buckaroos still looking for their first win of the season.

Jacob Moody produced another solid performance rushing for 152 yards and two TDs on only nine carries, while also picking up 32 receiving yards and one score for Meeteetse. Moody has been hot, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last five times he's played. Clayton Yoder was another key player, throwing for 152 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.

Kaycee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Meeteetse, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Kaycee will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ten Sleep at 1:00 p.m. on the 24th. The Buckaroos will be up against the Pioneers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.75 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Meeteetse, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 46-25 win against Midwest on the 18th.
