Softball Recap: Graham Takes a Loss

Graham lost against Tazewell back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The G-Men fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. The match marked the G-Men's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Jillian Booth made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of KaLeah Ross, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

This is the second loss in a row for Graham and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Tazewell, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Graham will square off against Richlands at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tazewell, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-8 win against Patrick Henry on the 16th.
