Basketball Recap: St. Joseph Academy Comes Up Short

St. Joseph Academy played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Army-Navy Warriors, falling 68-47. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, St. Joseph Academy still got an impressive performance from Dominic Gale, who went 8 of 12 en route to 19 points. That's the most points Gale has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Sean Howard, who posted six points.

St. Joseph Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Army-Navy, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

St. Joseph Academy has already played their next contest, a 70-59 loss against Escondido Charter on the 21st. As for Army-Navy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 58-56 defeat against Del Lago Academy on the 21st.
