Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Ridge). They blew past Crowley 6-1 on Friday. Hugo Ruiz was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Lake Ridge's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six matchups. As for Crowley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Looking ahead, Lake Ridge will head out on the road to take on Weatherford at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crowley, they will welcome Mansfield Legacy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
