Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Ellicott's Fifth in Last Six Outings

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Ellicott had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took down the Manual Thunderbolts 47-30.

Despite the loss, Manual still got an impressive performance from Dayjah Fox, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards. Fox has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more blocks the last 23 times she's played.

Ellicott is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. Manual is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-6.

Ellicott has already played their next game, a 67-28 defeat against Centauri on the 8th. Manual does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
