West Valley won the last time they faced Anderson and things went their way on Saturday too. West Valley blew past Anderson 21-2. Considering the Eagles have won five matchups by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Maddy Pemberton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single hit and allowed only one earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and two RBI.
