Volleyball Recap: Appleton City Takes a Loss

Appleton City was the 3-1 winner over Skyline when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Tigers on Thursday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Appleton City was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-10, 25-10.

Appleton City's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Skyline, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Appleton City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Green Ridge on the 8th. As for Skyline, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Tipton on the 9th.
