Softball Recap: Fairfield Falcons vs. Fremont Eagles

Fairfield entered their tilt with Fremont with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They had just enough and edged the Fremont Eagles out 13-12. That's more bragging rights for Fairfield, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jayslynn Hall was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Lilly Yoder, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.

On Fremont's side, Addy Parr made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Stevens, who went 1-for-4 with a home run.

Even though they lost, Fremont lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Fairfield pushed their record up to 10-4 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Fremont, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
