The Adams Central Patriots won the last time they faced the Fairbury Jeffs, and things went their way on Friday too. Adams Central simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Fairbury 41-6 on the road. With Adams Central ahead 33-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Adams Central can attribute much of their success to Jackson Sughroue, who rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 144 yards and a touchdown while completing 84.6% of his passes. Nick Conant was in the mix too, providing Adams Central with two touchdowns.

Adams Central's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Fairbury, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.

Adams Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Aurora at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nebraska (Aurora is ranked 25th, while Adams Central is ranked 24th). Fairbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
