Baseball Recap: Gallup Takes a Loss

Gallup lost against Bloomfield last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bengals lost 13-3 to the Bobcats. The Bengals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chase Blackgoat made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Gallup's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Bloomfield, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-4.

Coincidentally, Gallup and Bloomfield will both be playing Aztec the next time they take the field. The Bobcats will host the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Bengals will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
