Volleyball Recap: Providence's Run of Three Straight Victories Now Over

Providence lost against Oxnard back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Patriots fell 2-0 to the Yellowjackets. The game marked the first time this season in which the Patriots were not able to get on the board.

Providence moved to 7-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Oxnard, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11.

Providence wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Rio Mesa on the 5th. As for Oxnard, they will face off against Santa Barbara at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets are facing the Dons at the right time seeing as the Dons are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
