After a string of three wins, Midway's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Flower Mound Jaguars by a score of 6-4. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Midway's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Flower Mound, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Midway has already played their next matchup (against Richland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Flower Mound, they will square off against Hallsville at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight.
