Baseball Recap: Fairfield Central Griffins vs. Buford Yellow Jackets

Fairfield Central had lost five straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 7-18 to make it six. They came up short against the Buford Yellow Jackets, falling 13-3. That's two games in a row now that the Griffins have lost by exactly ten runs.

Mason Neums made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and two runs.

As for Buford, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 16-10. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.
