Softball Recap: Science Hill Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Science Hill can now relate to. They fell just short of the Maryville Rebels by a score of 7-6 on Wednesday.

Isabel Meeks made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Kyleigh Metcalf was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

Science Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 26-9. As for Maryville, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Science Hill nor Maryville have any future games scheduled.
