Baseball Recap: Ashdown Panthers vs. Nashville Scrappers
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ashdown). They blew past the Nashville Scrappers 13-2 on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Panthers needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.
Jarred Baker spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on one hit and racked up seven Ks. The dominant performance gave him a new career-low in hits.
