Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alleghany). They never let the Elkin Buckin' Elks get on the board and left with a 68-0 victory on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Buckin' Elks: they've now won five in a row.

Aiden Love continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 120 yards and one touchdown on only six carries. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August. Cooper Parlier also helped with two scores in total.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Alleghany was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 404 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in three consecutive games.

Alleghany's record now sits at 8-2. As for Elkin, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

As of now, neither Alleghany nor the Buckin' Elks have any future games scheduled.
