Softball Game Preview: Kenmore West Blue Devils vs. Niagara Falls Wolverines

Kenmore West hasn't had much luck against Niagara Falls recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Blue Devils will head out on the road to challenge the Wolverines at 5:00 p.m. Neither Kenmore West nor Niagara Falls posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

On Monday, Kenmore West came up short against Grand Island and fell 6-2. The contest marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Niagara Falls fell victim to North Tonawanda and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 13-0 to the Lumberjacks. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wolverines have suffered against the Lumberjacks since May 6, 2022.

Niagara Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Kenmore West, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Kenmore West couldn't quite get it done against Niagara Falls when the teams last played two weeks ago as they fell 9-4. Can the Blue Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
