Football Recap: Boulder Creek Skates Past Cesar Chavez with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boulder Creek). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 49-0 victory over the Cesar Chavez Champions.

Everett Stano was his usual excellent self, rushing for 114 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, while also throwing for 155 yards and a pair of TDs on only 13 passes. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024. Shaedon Perry also helped with two scores in total.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Boulder Creek was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 235 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Boulder Creek's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Cesar Chavez, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Boulder Creek will face off against Williams Field at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars' defense better be ready for this one: the Black Hawks have averaged an impressive 33.6 points per game this season. As for Cesar Chavez, they will challenge Pinnacle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pioneers' defense has only allowed ten points per game this season, so the Champions' offense will have their work cut out for them.
