The biggest upset of the week belonged to San Lorenzo, who took down 423rd ranked Alameda, 14-7.
The Rebels scaled the state rankings by moving to 612 from 668 this week, the biggest jump in West Alameda County - Shoreline. San Lorenzo climbed the ranks as a result of beating the Hornets 14-7.
Tennyson's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Christian Silva threw for 162 and 2 touchdowns and Xavier Thibodeaux had 107 yards receiving. On the ground Joshua Handy contributed 103 yards. Isaiah Rogers helped Tennyson's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 35 yards.
The Lancers' dynamic duo of Silva and Thibodeaux proved to be unstoppable against Mt. Eden, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Rogers helped Tennyson's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 35 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Monarchs' Jonathan Sturholm and Dominic Williams have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-9 quarterback Sturholm has thrown for 1,721 yards this season, while Williams has 37 catches for 655 yards. Tennyson's Rogers leads the league in rushing yards with 837.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Tennyson takes on second place San Lorenzo. Last week, Terry Smith's team bested Mt. Eden, while John Trotman's team defeated Alameda.
The Rebels made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,536 from 9,482. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 14-7 victory over Kemp Moyer's team last week.
