It was a good run, but Tipton-Rosemark Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against the St. George's Gryphons, falling 8-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rebels have suffered since April 25, 2024.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy got a good showing from Knox Holmes, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits Holmes has allowed since back in March.

On the hitting side, Tipton-Rosemark Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was RJ Massey, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. Another was Sebastian Walker, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 18-13. As for St. George's, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

As of now, neither Tipton-Rosemark Academy nor the Gryphons have any future games scheduled.
