Volleyball Game Preview: Brentwood Bruins vs. Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy Archers

The Brentwood Bruins will square off against the Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy Archers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive.

On Wednesday, Brentwood was able to grind out a solid win over Page, taking the game 2-0.

While Brentwood won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy beat LEAD Academy 3-1 on Thursday.

The victory didn't come easy: LEAD Academy scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-27, 25-22, 25-19.

Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Brentwood, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Brentwood was able to grind out a solid win over Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy in their previous meeting back in April, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bruins since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
