Americas fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Parkland on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Matadors by a score of 2-1. The Trail Blazers' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Zoe O'Hara spent all 7.2 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

Americas' defeat dropped their record down to 19-14. As for Parkland, their record now sits at 18-14.
