Soccer Game Preview: Valley vs. Greeley Central

The Valley Vikings will venture away from home to face off against the Greeley Central Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Valley's offense. They lost 3-0 to The Pinnacle on Thursday. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Greeley Central had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of Frederick by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Wildcats couldn't quite close it out.

Valley might still be hurting after the 4-0 defeat they got from Greeley Central when the teams last played back in March of 2019. Can Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
