Weldon Valley had to settle for second on Thursday, but Josh Wells sure wasn't going down easily. Wells posted six points and seven rebounds, which was good enough to set a new career-high in boards in the process. We marked that as the best performance he's had all season, even better than his effort on January 24th (when he earned six points) (Gamescore: 8.4 vs. 6.2).

Coming up, Wells and Weldon Valley will be playing at home against Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Weldon Valley hasn't beaten Prairie recently, having gone 0-10 since December of 2018.
