Softball Recap: Forest Park Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Forest Park lost to Alexandria City back in May of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Bruins put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 11-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Bruins, who have now won three games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Forest Park's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5. As for Alexandria City, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Looking ahead, Forest Park will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Woodbridge at 6:00 p.m. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.67 runs per game on average), something the Bruins will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Alexandria City, they will head out on the road to take on Edison at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Titans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season.
